Mercedes Benz A Class Sedan 2018
2018 Mercedes A-Class Sedan prices were published by the German company ahead of the new model's premiere at this autumn's Paris motor show. The entry-level A 200 with 163 hp costs 30,916 euros.
Visually and technically, the 2018 Mercedes A-Class Sedan is up to the B-pillar practically identical to the hatchback model. Mercedes is particularly proud of the low air resistance. With a Cd value of 0.22, the new four-door car achieves what only the variant 180 BlueEfficency Edition managed to achieve with the previous record holder Mercedes CLA.
At the end of the year, the sedan version of the A-Class will be launched with two engines: the A 200 turbo petrol with 163 hp and the A 180 d diesel with 116 hp. Both are coupled to the 7G-DCT dual clutch transmission. More engines and the all-wheel drive 4-Matic Mercedes will be available later.
The market launch is in early 2019. FULL LIST PRICE:

The new MBUX infotainment system with touchscreen is already standard on board in the basic version.
Mercedes also offers for the new A-Class Sedan the MULTIBEAM LED headlamps (1487.50 euros). 18 individually actuated LEDs housed in each headlamp allow extremely quick and precise, electronically controlled adjustment of the headlamps to suit the current traffic situation. The daylight-like light colour of the LEDs is easy on the eyes and has a positive effect on concentration. As a further option, LED High Performance headlamps (987.70 euros) offer a wider light distribution compared to the standard halogen headlamps, a daylight-like light colour and lower energy consumption.

When it comes to safety, the notchback model also offers the Pre-Safe system and belts with belt force limitation at an additional cost. In addition, driver and passenger airbags, driver knee airbags, window bags including A-pillar cover secure the passengers. Various driver assistance system such as brake and lane keeping assistant are also free of charge. In certain situations, the Mercedes A-Class sedan can also drive semi-automated, using camera and radar systems that look up to 500 meters ahead.
The Driving Assistance package (1796.90 euros) includes the following systems: Active Distance Control DISTRONIC with route-based speed adjustment; Active Steering Assist with Active Lane Change Assist and Active Emergency Stop Assist; Active Speed Limit Assist; Active Brake Assist with cross-traffic function; Evasive Steering Assist; Active Blind Spot Assist; PRE-SAFE® PLUS. PRE-SAFE® PLUS can detect an imminent rear-end collision. If the danger of a collision persists, the system can lock the brakes of the stationary vehicle before a rear-end collision to prevent it from being shunted forward by the impact. This can minimise the risk of injury by reducing the forward jolt caused by the impact. Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC and Active Steering Assist now support the driver even more conveniently in keeping a safe distance and steering, and the vehicle speed is now also automatically adjusted on bends, at road junctions and on roundabouts.
As with the 5-door A-Class, the 2018 Mercedes A-Class Sedan can be configured in the Style (1213.80 euros), Progressive (1868.30 euros; from A 220 1600.55 euros) and AMG-Line (3510.50 euros) equipment lines, as well as the Night package (952.00 euros extra). As is the tradition, Mercedes will also offer a special launch version called Edition 1 – for around one year after the market launch. Available for an extra 7,021 euros in all engine variants and selected paint finishes, the exclusive special model comes with numerous colour highlights in copper, such as on the pins of the diamond radiator grille, 19-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels (also copper-painted with a high-sheen finish), sport seats with adjustable head restraints, ambience lighting and LED High Performance headlamps.
